Capri van de Smeets is a colt by the currently highly successful stallion Ermitage Kalone, known for his exceptional jumping ability and growing influence in the sport. Capri is a charming and elegant foal, standing out with his excellent trot and canter, and especially his light-footedness — qualities that make him a promising prospect for the future. These qualities were recognized by the judges of the foal Championship, were Capri was placed 2nd. 

His dam, Pippa van de Smeets, currently competes successfully at the 1.40m level and traces back to D’ulien van de Smeets, who performed at 1.60m level under riders Mclain Ward & Juan Ortiz. Though the damline is small, it is far from insignificant, having already proven itself with results at the highest level.
