Chardonnay van ’t Hageland is a colt with an interesting pedigree and modern conformation. His dam is a 7-year-old mare by I Am Special de Muze, currently competing at 1m30 level. She is a daughter of Nantelle T&L, who herself jumped at 1m50 level, and is also the full sister of Philemon van T&L (1m50).

The damline of this colt traces back to Nikita, one of the cornerstone mares of modern sport horse breeding. Nikita is the dam of Toulon, a legend in both sport and breeding, and also produced multiple other international performers such as Vancouver d’Avray (1m60 – Pius Schwizer). This line is renowned for producing athletes with power, scope, and consistent performance at the highest level.
