Giovanni competed at the highest level under the saddle of toprider Pius Schwizer. The pair was 6th during the CSI05* GP(1m60) of Rotterdam, they also jumped a clear round in the Nations Cup of Falsterbo(CSIO5*). Giovanni is currently very competitive under the saddle of Lieven Devos.
