ABOUT

Cumthago C is a 6 year old son of Cumano who is a phenomenon both in the sports as in the breeding. He is a world champion, Vice European champion, winning the prestigious Grand Prix of Calgary and the Grand Prix of Lummen. He attended twice at the Olympic Games, ended 3rd in the Grand Prix of Aken. In breeding he achieved already, despite a small production, a number of sporting horses on Grand Prix level. The mother of Cumthago C, My Girl, is a daughter to La Zarras, the Landgraf I son who won the gold medal with Toni Hassman at the EK Young Riders. But more important is the outstanding mother line. Cumthago C is one of the latest highlines on stud-farm “de Roshoeve“. He achieved convincingly during the Pavo stallion competition and was the winner of the 6 year old stallions.

Here he delivers a handsome daughter together with Fantastique mare Uniana. This mare already delivered Hope van de Horthoeve (Cabrio van de Heffinck) which was sold as 3 year old at the auction of 2010 and is now performing under Abdel Said with the 7 year old ones internationally.

Uniana’s sister Wina produced the gray mare Fedra (Winningmood) which was sold at our auction in 2005 and later on achieved well internationally under Rik Hemmerijck. They won during the jumping in Liege the finals of the Young Riders.

Grandmother Elvira herself jumped 1.40 categories. With these kind of references Olympia van de Horthoeve is sure of a wonderful future career.
